Scott Lewis – Founder and President

Growing up in small town Ohio gave Scott a sense of community and appreciation for kindness and helping others. Playing music and sports were fun pastimes, but it wasn’t until his first Biology class that he realized what he wanted to do in life. Scott followed this calling to WPI in Worcester, MA, one of only four schools that offered a degree in Biotechnology at the time.

In his first industry job in a catalog antibody company, it didn’t take long before he began to notice improvements that could be made both in client communication and target design.  Once he moved to New England Peptide to lead their custom antibody efforts in 2004, these precepts – and the resolution to always keep learning – became the foundation for how he would grow the business 30-fold over the next 20 years.

Eventually, Scott felt the need to create something built to last that he could call his own, culminating in the founding of Legacy Antibodies LLC in 2026.  Scott lives in North Central MA with his stabilizing wife, three amazing children, and somewhat oblivious dog.
